キリル文字で書くのがオフィシャル。Монгол хэл (Mongol khel)

ハルハ・モンゴル語がモンゴルの国語。内モンゴル自治区でも話されている。
ただし、内モンゴルでは中国語とのバイリンガルが多く、若者の間や都市部ではモンゴル語の使用が減っているそうだ。

Khalkha Mongolian is the national language of Mongolia, where there are over two million speakers. There are also up to three million speakers in Northern China, mostly Inner Mongolia; however, some of them are bilingual with Chinese, and use of Mongolian is declining among younger people and in urban areas.
